Culture of Macau

The intermingling of the Portuguese and the Chinese culture makes Macau one of the intermingling pots of culture, conventions and customs. Macau that has seen 330 years of Portuguese occupation over the Chinese state is one of the finest examples of state displaying a perfect mix of the east and the west. Culture of Macau owes it to both these lands.

Population
Though most of the Macau population consists mainly of Chinese people with a minority of Portuguese that makes only 2% of the entire population you can find a fine assembling of cultural traits of both the land that are very integral part of the Culture of Macau.

Languages
